Winkler Technik Recognized as Innovation Champion and Receives TOP 100 Seal
Überlingen – Winkler Technik GmbH, located in Überlingen, has been honored with the prestigious TOP 100 Seal for 2024 in recognition of its outstanding innovation capabilities. This coveted seal is exclusively awarded to particularly innovative medium-sized companies. The award ceremony is scheduled for June 28th in Weimar, where the renowned science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar will personally extend his congratulations. Yogeshwar has been serving as a mentor for the TOP 100 innovation competition for twelve years.
The innovation prowess of all participants was assessed on behalf of compamedia, the organizer of the competition, by innovation researcher Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and his team, using over 100 criteria from five categories. These categories encompass innovation-driven top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation, and innovation success. Franke emphasizes that the companies’ ability to create new products, services, processes, and business models is of paramount importance. Equally crucial is whether these achievements result from structured and targeted efforts or mere coincidences.
