Fastening systems for underfloor heating – knowledge built over almost 50 years

The original from Lake Constance

Winkler Technik was founded in 1977 by Dr. Wolfram Winkler and is run today by the fourth generation of the family. The original U-Rail invention has grown into a complete programme of fastening systems for underfloor heating, wall heating, ceiling cooling and underfloor heating systems.

From private homes and office buildings to industrial halls and stadium turf heating: our products are in use worldwide on every substrate — screed, concrete, soil, mesh panels and all common insulation materials.

Our range at a glance

U-rails such as U-Rails, U-Rails ZS, penta- and Octarails hold the heating pipe at exactly the specified spacing. Staple systems with staples and setting tools enable fast installation across large areas. Clips fix the pipe to mesh panels or hard substrates, holding pins and plastic nails secure the rails, and plastic bend supports keep the bending radius at the manifold in shape.

All components are designed to work together and are produced in Germany and Switzerland — controlled quality, short delivery routes and the reliability that professionals have valued for decades.

Consulting, not just a catalogue

Which rail fits which insulation? Which clip will hold a 17 mm pipe on a steel mesh? At Winkler Technik these questions are answered by our sales and application engineers — in person, by phone or by email. Talk directly to the inventors of the U-Rail.
