WINKLER TECHNIK GmbH was founded by its founder, Dr. Wolfram Winkler, in 1977. He managed the company’s business for over 40 years, making it one of the international leaders in the development and sale of innovative mounting systems for surface temperature control systems. Unfortunately, at the end of April 2021, Dr. Winkler peacefully passed away at the age of 76.
We will always remember his inventive talent, his determination and his perseverance. Therefore, he was always a great role model for all of us.
Dr. Winkler invented the U-shaped Mounting rail in 1980, which is today still a bestseller, and searched continuously for new, innovative products. Dr. Winkler and his wife Erika Winkler built up the company internationally and managed the business for decades. WINKLER TECHNIK has made a name for itself throughout the world, especially thanks to its “know-how“ in the area of mounting systems for surface temperature control.
Today the patented solutions for underfloor heating and cooling, and more, are now available in over 30 countries.
On the occasion of his 75th birthday in 2019, Dr. Winkler said to the staff: “I am pleased that WINKLER TECHNIK is still such a successful company and that my son Alexander Winkler and his wife Veronika Winkler are continuing the business in such a good way. They are the fourth generation of the family business.“
Dr. Winkler’s positive and humorous way and his generosity will forever remain in our memory.
Especially when we will exhibit at trade fairs or talk to customers, we will think of him because these were one of his favourite activities. In this way his “know-how“ and his inventions will be of use for customers and business partners further on, and we will carry it into the world.
